Game Director
Annapurna Interactive is hiring up for an exciting new unannounced project in the Unreal engine. We are starting with a few key hires who will be guiding the project from inception through completion. If having loads of responsibility and starting something new with a small group of super talented folks sounds exciting, then check out below.
As Game Director you will have the responsibility of leading and maintaining the creative vision of an exciting new unannounced project. Ideally you can be hands-on and work directly in the tools alongside your colleagues to rapidly prototype ideas and prove out interesting scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Own and guide all creative aspects of the project.
- Clearly communicate the direction of the project to the team.
- Collaborate with others to plan the project and manage scope.
- Work hands-on in engine to create content.
- Help drive overall quality of project.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team on at least one full game project, end to end.
- Significant lead design experience or other relevant experience
- Experience in taking a project from prototype to release stage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- One shipped title in Unreal.
Senior Producer
Annapurna Interactive is hiring up for an exciting new unannounced project in the Unreal engine. As Senior Producer you will have the responsibility of guiding the production of an exciting new unannounced project. Working alongside the Game Director, you will own and define all production pieces, from milestones to workflow. This role is about helping to build a small, talented team and working to create a genuinely great game.
Responsibilities
- Own & guide all production aspects of the project.
- Partner with the Game Director & Annapurna leadership to lead a small team from conceptualization, to production, through release.
- Partner with Game Director & Annapurna leadership to define milestones, and drive the successful delivery of all objectives.
- Work with leadership to ensure work is prioritized in line with the creative vision.
- Define production processes with an eye toward optimizing the teams’ ability to make the best game efficiently.
- Lead & manage all external collaborations including outsourcing, QA, localization and so on.
Requirements
- Production experience leading a team on at least one major full game project, end to end.
- Experience in taking a project from prototype to release stage, and support post-release.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Budget and project planning experience a must, as well as collaborating with team leadership to define and track milestone goals and deliverables
- Ability to manage and prioritize needs of project and team.
Marketing Coordinator
We're looking for a marketing coordinator to assist with projects from pre-production through post-launch. You will work with our internal team, various development teams, and external platform partners to assist with campaign, roadmap, and sales planning, asset production and coordination, and other tasks related to marketing, social media, content creation, CRM, merchandising, partnerships, etc.
The ideal candidate should at least have two years of full-time experience in a marketing or production role or related field, preferably in the video game industry. Experience with creative suites (Adobe, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with platform-specific development portals is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Liaise and organize assets for campaigns, sales promotions, brand efforts: social media, email, web, video, storefronts, digital advertising.
- Suggest timelines, track progress, and flag potential roadblocks for marketing needs related to each of our game projects.
- Create assets as requested or edit existing assets provided by development teams to fulfill existing needs or incoming requests.
- Support our online and retail merchandising efforts through self-sourced means as well as external/licensing partners.
- Assist with the execution of public-facing initiatives, such as conventions, PR events, livestreams, and other opportunities as they come up.
- Work with our team to contribute ideas, plans, feedback related to marketing and project-specific strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a marketing or production related role, preferably in the video game industry.
- Project + time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Understanding of digital marketing assets, specifications, and requirements for various platforms.
- Experience working within a small team.
- Experience working with external partners and a strong ability to maintain those relationships.
- Knowledgeable in social media, digital office suite products, and creative suite products related to asset creation.
Marketing Data Analyst
We are currently searching for a marketing data analyst to join our publishing team to support our decision-making and campaign planning for our projects in various stages of development. You will work with us internally to collect data, process/analyze, build models/visualizations, and communicate reports and results that will help drive the future planning of unreleased projects, and further the growth of already released titles.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver data/analytical-related requests.
- Build models and reports for sales, forecasting, data trends, and other business-related needs.
- Develop tools and dashboards for the business as a whole, as well for specific platforms, projects, and other needs.
- Optimize growth and efficiency for individual titles.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative or analytical field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, CS.
- Minimum two years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (such as Tableau).
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Project + time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Experience working within a small team.
Release Manager
We’re looking for a release manager to support our publishing team including: console certification, ratings, launch, post-launch, and other content on multiple platforms. You’ll be the point of contact for all game releases, working with internal production, QA, and external development teams to ensure smooth communication so projects go through the relevant procedures without issue. You will also work with partners at the various platform holders to coordinate the setup and launch of our titles.
Responsibilities
- Support internal publishing team, namely production and QA, as well as external development teams, to meet release/post-release roadmaps and relevant deadlines.
- Assist with production/marketing/development-related task tracking that would impact release, such as submissions, certification, storefront metadata, patches, ratings, etc.
- Own the age rating submission process for multiple territories around the world.
- Work with platform partners to ensure any needs are met related to platform-specific nuances.
Requirements
- Experience shipping a title on at least one platform (consoles, PC, and/or mobile). Experience shipping multiple titles or on multiple platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with ratings submission process, platform publishing portals and release procedures for at least one platform.
- Familiarity with dev tracking/bug tracking tools, such as Jira, Airtable, DevSuite, Pivotal, MS Project, etc.
- Project + time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Experience working within a small team.
- Experience working with external partners and a strong ability to maintain those relationships.
